Mictlancihuatl

Esta es mi visión moderna sobre la diosa azteca de la muerte Mictlancihuatl. Para que entiendan mejor el concepto del dibujo, en la mitología azteca se dice que quien muere es guiado por el perro negro a las entradas del inframundo (Mictlán); en este lugar, Mictlantecutli, el dios de la muerte resguarda y vigila este mundo, a fin de dar a cada quien lo que merece, sea para bien o para mal. Su esposa, Mictlancihuatl, es la encargada de finalizar la vida de cada ser viviente en el mundo. Este último concepto es algo presente incluso en nuestros días.
